ECT2, a Montrose Environmental Group company, is a global leader in providing PFAS solutions with the only patented regenerable ion exchange resin system for PFAS remediation. With over 30 installations worldwide, we are excited to announce we have formally established two European locations to better serve our clients in the region. With representation based in Sweden and Germany, ECT2 is ready to offer smart solutions to the tough problems with emerging contaminants in water and air.

Jeff Lewis, General Manager of ECT2 Sweden, joined the team in August 2020 and brings with him a wealth of experience in groundwater and PFAS-related projects. In collaboration with the Swedish Agricultural University SLU, Jeff initiated a research project that is investigating phytoremediation possibilities for PFAS. He is a docent in hydrogeology at the University of Gothenburg, with a focus on contaminant transport.

Meseret Tesfameskel, Dipl.-Ing (FH), Project Manager for ECT2 Germany, joined the team in June 2020 and brings over 20 years of relevant industry experience. Meseret has worked in various management and leadership positions within engineering teams and has expertise in PFAS and emerging contaminant solution technologies. He holds a degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Trier University of Applied Sciences.

With the addition of these two emerging contaminant experts to the global ECT2 team, in combination with our robust approach that focuses on reusing treatment media and substantially reduces waste, ECT2 offers a sustainable, industrial-strength solution for PFAS remediation. Our product lines are built to maximize efficiency while offering a smaller footprint, and can be customizable for each customer’s needs. ECT2 is dedicated to environmental stewardship and sustainability, so we can avoid turning today’s remediation answers into tomorrow’s environmental problems. Contact the team today to learn more.
