Power and Water Corporation worked with the Australian Department of Defence
to provide a full-scale water treatment system created by ECT2 for the Town of Katherine. ECT2 completed installation in October 2017, and it is now producing 12.5 liters per second of high quality drinking water with undetectable levels of
Per-fluorinated and poly-fluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS).
In a press release and promotional notice published in the Katherine Times, Power and Water noted that the 1,000,000 liters being treated daily is now being blended with treated river water and incorporated into the town’s water supply.
