This webinar will provide an overview of these developing standards, with a focus on the US, Europe and Australia. It will also review the proven and emerging technologies for removing PFAS from contaminated water. Case studies will be used to illustrate the importance of pilot testing the selected or prospective treatment technologies. Other topics include the significance of proper pilot system/testing design, inclusion of appropriate pretreatment, data collection/interpretation, and scaling up for full-scale success.
Learning Objectives:
- Reviewing the evolving nature of PFAS regulations across the globe and how they impact treatment system design and operation.
- Gaining insight into the technologies available for addressing these tightening treatment standards.
- Understanding the importance of pilot testing when selecting and sizing the right PFAS removal system, including applying the appropriate pretreatment steps to protect downstream equipment/operations.
